Deep Breathing GIF

This GIF was created by an occupational therapist with experience in teaching people how to manage anxiety, anger, frustration, and other emotions. People often times do not breathe correctly to help with calming; this is especially true for kids. This GIF is animated and highlights the body part that should be used to breathe (breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth), slow and deep breaths, and hold for a few secs at the top. Use this GIF to teach yourself, your child, or others how to take deep breaths to reduce anxiety, frustration, anger, and any other emotion that you or they may be struggling with!<br>

This digital workbook is designed to help kids learn how to write letters using a developmentally appropriate format. It is also designed to give kids support by using starting points, boxes, and letter pathways. It includes Straight Line Letter Practice, Curved Letter Practice, and Diagonal Letter practice. It also includes Uppercase Letters Extra practice (boxes with starting points). I have had good success with helping kids to write using this format.

This is an interactive PowerPoint handwriting activity written by an occupational therapist with pediatric experience. Kids participate better in writing activities when it involves something fun. Reading a book that has animation and motion is a great way to get children engaged! This book focuses on capital E formation; however, you can use it to form other letters based on the pictures as well. Children can write on paper, white or chalk board, or write on the slides using the marker in slide show view (bottom left corner).
